A star leader is the individual(s) on your team that is exceptionally clear in what they need to do, why is matters, and then executes their tasks consistently. These people are typically your highest producers, but not always the best mentors. They’re ready to run out in front of the pack, to be the trailblazer and the pace setter, but are not always great at showing other people the ideal path.
Star leaders are an ideal combination of consistency and clarity. Pair that with high performance and high potential, you have an absolute all star on your hands.
But what about when consistency and clarity are lacking? Who’s job is it to fix the problem? Who implements the plan? How to we avoid global risks?
