This program is an overview of fluid therapy and continuous rate infusion (CRI) calculations and case management. In the two-part session, we discuss and implement fluid rate calculations for maintenance, shock, surgical, and subcutaneous fluids, as well as the process of creating CRI fluid bags. The fluid rate calculations are brought together with CRI calculations to create therapeutic management plans for common ailments seen in clinical practice.
