Diagnostics at Our Fingertips
At PAW Health Network, we are committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality diagnostic services to ensure our patients receives the best possible care. Our advanced X-ray and ultrasound imaging technologies play a crucial role in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions quickly and accurately.
We have the one of the largest HESKA laboratories in the state, and exclusively use Michigan State University Veterinary Diagnostics Lab for our reference lab to support veterinary universities.
X-rays (radiographs) are essential for evaluating the structure of bones, joints, and certain internal organs. Whether a patient has suffered an injury, such as a fracture or dislocation, or is experiencing joint pain, dental problems, or suspected tumors, X-rays offer clear and immediate insights. This allows us to swiftly identify conditions like arthritis, bone infections, or foreign body ingestion, leading to prompt and effective treatment.
Our ultrasound services provide a more detailed view of soft tissues and internal organs, offering real-time, dynamic imaging. This non-invasive method is ideal for diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as heart disease, liver or kidney dysfunction, bladder stones, gastrointestinal disorders, and reproductive issues. Ultrasounds also aid in guiding certain procedures, such as biopsies, ensuring a higher degree of accuracy.
By integrating these cutting-edge diagnostic tools into our practice, we can detect underlying health issues early, create personalized treatment plans, and improve overall quality of life. Our team is highly trained in interpreting these images, and we are dedicated to offering clear, compassionate communication throughout the diagnostic process, keeping you informed every step of the way.
